Task
To provide high-speed and seamless external Wi-Fi access throughout the campus area for over 40,000 visitors of the student festival 'Odyssey' held from January 27th to 28th, 2023, by extending the existing indoor Wi-Fi network of the educational institution.
Outcome
The installation of 12 highly efficient HFCL Wi-Fi 6 outdoor access points at the campus of the Indraprastha Institute of Information Technology Delhi (IIIT-Delhi) ensured uninterrupted Wi-Fi coverage over an area of more than 10 hectares. Over 40,000 students attended the two-day festival, with more than 16,000 utilizing high-speed Wi-Fi and consuming over 100 GB of data. This remarkable success stands as an example of HFCL's commitment to provide excellent communication and enhance educational environments.
